Operations Co-ordinator - London Heliport
About the Role
We are seeking someone with a passion for working in aviation and preferably have previous experience. Working as part of the small heliport operations team you will have the initiative, flexibility and professionalism to be the first point of contact and public face of the London Heliport to its users and visitors.
Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for:
Front of House visitor reception duties, presentation of public areas and assistance with maintenance of high customer service levels
Acceptance and processing of flight bookings and liaison with internal departmental functions (air traffic control and airside handling) in the smooth running of the heliport.
Liaison with customer-operators, their aircrew and support staff and passenger care
Liaison with external regulating agencies including co-ordination of pre-flight notification to UK border agencies for international flights
Information and data-base records, reporting, maintenance of flight movement data & invoicing of services provided, maintenance of stocks and supplies required for administrative and customer service provision.
Playing your role in the provision of a safety-managed, best-practice working environment, including assistance with First Aid care (subject to training) in emergency situations.
The role is salaried and involves a flexible shift pattern to cover the core operational hours and staffing needs of the London Heliport (07.30-19.30), regular weekend working and occasional public holidays. Annual Leave is accrued pro-rata.
